Summer 2026 Internship – ESG Program
Temporary (3 to 6 months)
The intern will support the ESG team in the implementation of procedures, tools, and data related to supplier assessment and ESG reporting. The individual will work collaboratively with multiple departments to consolidate information, harmonize practices, and support the development of MACH’s ESG initiatives.
Supplier File Management and Analysis
- Collect, verify, and organize supplier-related information as part of the ESG (Supply Chain) program.
- Contribute to updating supplier databases.
- Participate in integrating ESG criteria into procurement processes, including assisting with the development of questionnaires and evaluation grids.
- Analyze ESG documents and disclosures provided by partners and suppliers.
- Document processes and propose improvements to ensure greater data consistency.
ESG Reporting Support
- Participate in the implementation of standardized data collection tools to facilitate information sharing across teams.
- Perform preliminary checks to ensure the consistency, quality, and accuracy of received information.
- Support the production of key indicators used in the ESG program and the B Corp certification process.
- Compile data from various departments (energy, waste, philanthropy, property management, HR, suppliers, etc.).
- Maintain internal ESG tracking dashboards.
- Prepare data summaries for internal meetings and quarterly reports.
- Structure and organize supporting documentation required for audits and external reporting.
- Collaborate with the Communications team to provide factual data for ESG-related content (reports, fact sheets, web pages, internal documents).
Qualifications
- Student enrolled in a program related to environmental studies, sustainability, business administration (with an ESG/CSR focus), environmental sciences, or a related field.
- Strong interest in sustainability, responsible governance, and supply chain management.
- Excellent analytical, synthesis, and data management skills.
- Strong attention to detail, autonomy, and rigour.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work collaboratively.
- Proficiency with office tools (Excel, Word, SharePoint).
- Asset: relevant work experience or coursework in sustainability or supplier management.
