MACH is proud to announce LEED Gold Certification for the new Maison du loisir et du sport.
The recently inaugurated 200,000 ft² building houses the offices of the Regroupement Loisir et Sport du Québec and several sports organizations. This certification demonstrates MACH's commitment to actively contribute to sustainable development.

Project features
- Exemplary energy performance (24 points out of a possible 25), with a 42% reduction in energy consumption and 86% reduction in GHG emissions.
- A project that has been awarded the "Material Ingredient Optimization" credit, aimed at encouraging the extensive use of products/materials in the project for which life-cycle information is available and whose impact is preferable from an environmental, economic, and social point of view.
- The project is distinguished by two exemplary performances (twice the LEED requirement).
- 100% of paints and coatings, 100% of floor coverings and 95% of furniture were selected for their low concentrations of chemical contaminants that harm air quality and the environment.
- In terms of waste, the project's management exceeded LEED requirements, generating only 3.21 lbs/ft² of waste, and diverted 59% of construction and demolition material waste.
