Senior Director of Operations - Montreal

Regular full-time

Reporting to the Vice-President, Operations, the Senior Director of Operations ensures the planning, organization and control of all activities related to management in order to ensure its physical and financial condition while maintaining a harmonious relationship with tenants.

 

  • Analyze, monitor and rigorously control the quality of services offered to tenants;
  • Supervise, develop and train the staff under his or her responsibility;
  • Participate in the development of policies and standards for the operation of the buildings under his/her management and ensure that they are applied;
  • Ensure the application of laws, codes and regulations concerning the public safety of occupants and the protection of property;
  • Ensure that emergency measures are updated and applied;
  • Prepare, negotiate and supervise contract quotes with suppliers;
  • Oversee, develop and have a superior understanding of Capex budgets;
  • Maintain accounts receivable at their lowest level, ensure follow-up;
  • Ensure the quality of the service provided to tenants;
  • Strategically manage buildings to control expenses;
  • Perform special case management;
  • Forecast life-cycle costs;
  • Manage KPIs and survey maps;
  • Perform all other related tasks;
  • Proactively manage the health and safety of your team.
