Construction | Social and affordable housing

On June 22, MACH and Construgep celebrated the progress of construction of 215 social and community housing units in Pointe-Saint-Charles, along with many other community players!

“The creation of Coopérative Pointe Amicale and NPO Héritage represents the culmination of more than 10 years of collaboration with the community, local organizations, the City of Montreal and the Sud-Ouest Borough," emphasized MACH president Vincent Chiara, before continuing: "At MACH, we are convinced that the richness of our neighborhoods depends on the diversity of the people who live there. The company has been working for several years to integrate social and affordable housing into its real estate developments, to make them inclusive and sustainable living environments.

Thanks to the Minister of Housing, Mme France-Élaine Duranceau, the Mayor of the Sud-Ouest and Executive VP of the City of Montreal, Mr. Benoît Dorais, representatives of Bâtir son quartier and community groups, Coopérative Pointe-Amicale and OBNL Héritage for their presence at this significant event.
